A few months ago I had a revelation…I woke up in a crappy mood. It was a rainy Monday and I wasn’t feeling good about myself. My winter depression was hanging over me and I just didn’t want to go to work. It was one of those days where I had numerous things I wasn’t looking forward to. It would be more trouble to miss work, so I just started the process of getting ready for the day.

I entered my Peace Room, a place where I am accustomed to focusing on myself and preparing for the day. I lit my candle, turned on my salt lamp and STILL felt crappy. I had to try something different.

Music…it had been a while since I NEEDED music the way I did this morning, so I grabbed my iPhone and selected a Spotify playlist I had made called “Happy”.

The next thing I knew, the beats were playing and one of my favorite dance tunes came on.

Without even thinking about it, my body started moving. My hips were swaying and I slowly began dancing. I began singing along and enjoyed every minute of that song.

When the song ended, I noticed something really surprising. I was no longer sad. I had energy. I felt hopeful about the day.

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!

I had changed my vibrational frequency with very little effort.

I decided that I would name my blog “Changeurvibe” to encourage others to practice changing their vibes, their thoughts, their negative patterns, their lives.
